Versatile Sounds Production and the group Big Money Ballaz was founded in 1999 by artist, producer, and C.E.O of V.S.P., Richard Biggs also known as Richie Rich along with a very close friend and business partner, Priest Robinson, known as D.J. Splash. Rich and D.J. Splash both were born and reared in South Memphis and were graduates of South Side High school. The team was able to produce a World Class sound at an underground level. From 2002 to 2006, the Big Money Ballaz hit the streets of Memphis with a mission to be different, original, and to promote at all cost.
